Writing is still part of my thinking.
Everyone will find a different way to use AI.
I do not think the whole process should be outsourced.
Writing shows me how my ideas connect. It also shows me where they do not connect.
An AI tool can improve a sentence. It cannot take responsibility for what I mean.
02 · Three checks
I use three conditions before I accept the text.
Scientific and factual accuracy
I need to believe that every sentence is scientifically and factually sound.
Structure for the reader
The logic should be easy to follow. The amount of detail should fit the reader.
References that support the point
Each citation should support the claim I am making.
If one condition fails, the sentence is not ready.
03 · Find your way
There are many ways to use AI in writing.
Find the way that works for you.
AI can also help beyond sentences.
I use image-making tools to create flowcharts and schematic diagrams. A good visual can make my writing richer. It can also help a reader understand a process or a relationship more quickly.
The same visual may be useful again. I can use it in a presentation. I can adapt it into teaching material. One carefully made diagram can support several kinds of communication.
I also enjoy using agentic AI to build small HTML-based games. A game can help me explore a physical process, an algorithm, or even the steps in a derivation. Making something interactive can reveal which parts I understand and which parts still need work.
I strongly encourage people to experiment with these possibilities.
Make sure you can still take responsibility for your writing.
